Our Teachers
Founded by a Filipina, Guided by Filipino Teachers
Rooted in local wisdom and heartfelt community, our shala is proudly Filipina-founded and guided by a Filipino teaching faculty. Each class is shaped by teachers who deeply understand the culture, rhythms, and spirit of the islands—offering an authentic, grounded approach to yoga that feels warm, inclusive, and deeply connected to home.
Shala Guidelines
Kindly arrive on time
The shala opens 20 minutes before class starts so you’re welcome to arrive early to settle in and make payment before class starts. The gate is closed at class start in order to keep the peace of the space.
Let’s keep things tidy
Just like any home, we like to keep ours clean for all that pass through. Please remove your shoes and slippers before entering the wooden practice area. Coats can be hung outside on the railing if wet or on hooks if dry.
No recording please
Let’s respect everyone’s right privacy by not recording them as they move, sing and do their thing. We invite you take any content you’d like before and after class, just not while it is ongoing.
You are welcome here
And finally, please remember that we are here to support you in your journey. We welcome all levels of experience and mobility. No need to be shy about being a beginner or not being ‘flexible’. We have a team of very experienced teachers who are here for you. We also have an accessibility ramp and an accessible bathroom to further support you.
